soundwave...
dang. it was hot... but awesome.
after standing in line for amillion hours. we bolted up the hill. running to stage 5. yep wrong stage.
ran further along. found the mainstages. ran to stage 2. haha and collided with the effing barrier.
trial kennedy came on.
they were pretty darn good. In the middle of it we saw john setting up and were like *screams frantically*
then.. Halifax came onto stage 1 after that... im sure theyre good and all. but they were on FOREVER. when your waiting for blg.
then blg finally came on saw bryan then paul. then martin came out and it was like *THIS HEART ATTACK* haha yeah. anyway.
opened with heroheroine. martin picked up our flag. we all died a little inside. (we = me and megan and bridget)
I dont have a stand out favourite song. but heels over head. i just.. i effing love that song.
paul kept looking down at us and smiling alot. so did martin.
hahaha john rocked out hard on the drums.
for a band like boys like girls. the crowd.. friggin. my chest felt like someone had stomped on it. so much pressure from the people behind us.. which we later found out was waaaaaaaaaay more then we thought. got so sunburnt JUST from that first set.
after singing ever so loud and ever so badly to Thunder. their set ended. and we went and watched the rest of All time low.
then i had like 3 bottles of water and died on the hill next to Cartel.
where we then saw Bryan walking down the hill from the backstage area.
we went and talked to him. had a confused moment over weather temperature. haha.
and we yelled out happy birthday for tomoro as he was walking away. all SMIIIIILES!
ill skim through the rest of the day to like..... 6pm. some of our friends met martin at motion city soundtrack. and we later saw him behind stage 3.. i think it was. the one where madina lake and cartel were on. he was throwing a football with the guys from My American Heart.

we waited around and when he came out megan asked him if he liked the flag we made him. he hugged her and said thankyou so much. and thanked us tooooo.
im rambling so ill keep it short.
soundwave. was the best day. the hardcore sunburn that felt like i had been repeatedly slapped.
was well worth it blg were the standout for me personally.
i would post pictures but im on the wrong computer to do so.

first of all it was effin amazing!. we got there a 9:30am, and waited in line till 12. and we FINALLY got inside and ran straight to stage 2, when we eventually found it!, and we got right on the bar right in the very middle, and we watched Trial Kennedy, who are actually really good i liked them. Half way through their set John Keef was spotted in the background, and we where screaming. and then Trial kennedy finished, and then Halifax came on stage 1, they where good as well, but we just wanted boys like girls to get on stage. and during there set, we saw paul and bryan and stuff, and then i was watching them and a HUGE SLAP hit me on the arm and bridget and kathleen where pointing and screaming MARTIN, and i saw saw the top of his head in the background. Halifax where good, and they dedicated there last song to us boys like girls fans, because we kept groaning evertime he introduced a new song.

boys like girls set finally arrived and there i was right infront of martin johnson. He started to sing, and you couldnt hear him because he was being drowned out by the crowd to freaking much, During Hero/Heroine, we gave him the Australian flag we had made for them, and he held it up in the air and so forth.

there set was amazing, they are soo good live,Martin looked at me and smiled while he sung a verse of hero/heroine, we where screaming so loud and it was amazing, and then he went and got the flag again and held it up and said

" i read about this flag on the net about a week ago, and ive been so excited for it ever since" and me kathleen and bridget started screaming our heads off. and martin smiled at us, and pointed to us and said " did you make it" and we like nodded and shiiit.

after boys like girls we went to see all time low & then we went to cartel, they where sooo good

and we spotted Bryan Donahue walking around, so we went and spoke to him asked him if he liked the flag,which he did, and got a photo = ] and then when he started to walk off we screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" at him, and he turned around and laughed.

then we went to see more bands and i had told myself that boys like girls had gone home, and then during Motion City kathleen came and found me and said Marney and others had just met martin he was standing there watching Motion City Soundtrack, like singing along and stuff, so we went looking for him, and FINALLY found him, but he was in the band only area, and we waited for him for like an hour,he was talking, and kept playing footy and stuff and then he finally came down, and i started walking towards him, and he smiled (i think he remembered us from the mosh pit) and he told us how he finds australia amazing, and how there coming back soon and stuff
and then he was like

" i saw the flag on livejournal. like a week ago and i was really excited for it, but we didnt know what city it was all happening in and stuff, its in my backpack its going on my bedroom wall"

and then me bridget and kathleen got photos with him.

then.. incubus/the offspring/the matches


& then on tuesday we went to surnise (we = me,kathleen,bridget & my sister)

so on tuesday morning me, bridget and emma went to sunrise to see boys like girls, we got there and we saw johnny out the front having a fag, and when he was us walking up to him, he put the cigarette away, and then we spoke to him and then he walked off to smoke, and then Bryan came out to smoke,

and we waited around for a bit, and they where all at the bottom of the stairs and Bryan and John waved at us, and martin was going through his bag, and finally they where playing, so we went around the side so we could see them and they where like warming up, and paul saw us and waved, and we all waved back like idiots,

and then Martin saw us, and waved and then like looked up again and pointed to kathleen, and then the front of his shirt (she was wearing a blg shirt, and he was like yay shirt) and when he mouthed the word FLAG and pointed to us, and we all nodded and he made a love heart with his hands and then pointed to me,i was like OH MY GOOOOD

and they sung the great escape and we where walking back around to the front entrance and martin looked at us, so i waved him over to the window and he was like

*mouths* ill come outside and pointed outside.

and then they went to get all there stuff from upstairs and came outside

John, Bryan and Paul all came out and where like HEY GUYS and like got photos and what not spoke to people, we where talking to john and we where like "where you nervous" and he was like"not really" and we where like" i would be like the whole of australia watches sunrise" and then i asked for a photo and he was like "ofcourse thats why you came"
and stuff and then Martin like.. walked into the glass door, and we where all like " we saw that"

and then he like ran down the stairs and pulled all of us "flag girls" into a huuge hug, and everyone else there was like glaring at us and stuff, and we got photos with him and stuff, and i got him to sign this photo i took of him with the australian flag on sunday, and he was like WOAH I LIKE THIS PHOTO, do you have the original to it, i was like.. uhh yeah at home, and hes like can you send it to me, like on myspace.
